Learn more about Me part 2

Learn more about Me part 2
by: Maile Ward

Hello readers. Welcome to part 2 of Learn more about Me. I hope you enjoyed part 1. So lets get started. :D

Johnny followed me, calling my name. I know this sounds very dramatic but it’s what really happened. After that, I started hanging out with Johnny a lot. Then Ms. Christie (a teacher that I enjoyed being with) told me that every Tuesday at lunchtime I would get my lunch and come to her office to talk about the day and other things. So I started doing that. It was pretty fun. I have a question for you readers. Have you ever had a “boyfriend” (a friend that’s a boy) that you had a serious crush on? Well I had a crush on Johnny. That crush definitely affected me in the best possible way. One Tuesday when I was walking to Ms. Christie’s office, I met up with Johnny. Mostly he would be at least 2 feet away from me but this time he was so close that if I took one small step to the left I would bump into him. He followed me to Ms. Christie’s office. When we got there Ms. Christie asked if we liked to build things with Legos. When we said yes she got out a Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon set. She told us that we would have to come every Tuesday and work together to complete it. We never did finish it though.

I hope you like this part. I decided that this blog will be split into 3 or even 4 parts. So I will see you in part 3. Bye.

Learn More about Me

Learn more about Me part 1
by: Maile Ward

Hello again. Today I will tell you about me and my life so far. So hold on tight because this is true facts about me. So if you enjoy something else like reading a blog series or reading blogs about random things I suggest that you read another blog. Those who are interested in my blogs can read on. So let’s get started. (By the way my real name is Maile Ward not Autumn Colmen)

I was born on May 7, 2002 (5/7/2002). When I was a baby, instead of learning to crawl first, I didn’t crawl at all. I just skipped the stage of crawling and went to the stage of walking. When I was about 4 years old, me and my family moved to Thailand. We moved because my dad got called to come to Thailand by God (Yesuah,Messiah,Jesus). We first lived in Chiang Rai then we moved to Chiang Mai and then to Mae Sot. When I was about 9 or 10 years old, I went to a school called Chiang Mai International School (CMIS). Here I met two of my friends, Amanda and Arielle. Arielle introduced me to Amanda. As I remember when I met Amanda, I was very talkative and she was really shy and quiet, but it didn’t really matter to me. Then my life got a little darker (mean/heart break levels rise). After knowing Amanda for some time, Lucy and Hong (2 bullies in our grade, 4-5 grade) started bullying me. One time I was enjoying a normal lunch break walking around the school. Then I saw my friends (Amanda, Arielle, and Kim) running toward me. They told me that Lucy made an I Hate Maile Club and asked them to join. Of course they said no and ran to tell me. I felt very angered when I heard that. One side of me wanted to punch Lucy in the face but the other side knew that it was wrong to hurt someone. Then Arielle left to Australia. I met a boy one day during lunch. His name was Johnny. He was a great friend. But then things got weird. Me and Amanda drift apart (not close friends) and at lunch one day I sat with Johnny. While I was eating I looked up and saw Amanda looking at me and making heart shapes with her hands. I sat there very surprised. Then after lunch I ran away from Johnny feeling very embarrassed and sad.

This blog for my life is split into 2 parts because this blog would be long and boring if it didn’t. So see you in part 2. :D

Clouds

              Clouds

Clouds are beautiful things, they have several different shapes, they provide shade, and they also provide rain. What is interesting about clouds is that they never have the same shape as I noticed at first.

Sometimes they have many different colours like orange, pink, red, blue, dark blue, and purple. I like to look at clouds in the early morning and late evening because the cloud will cover the sun like it is eating the sun. It causes very cool looking colours to appear.

Sometimes the sky doesn't have any clouds which makes the sky look really clear and empty like a blank piece of paper. In some places the sky is full of clouds and becomes very dark.

When I was young I always thought that clouds do not move because they seem to just sit in place like couch potatoes, but I was wrong. Now I know that clouds do move but they just move very slowly. When I look at the cloud I just feel very peaceful, soft, and smooth.

I don't really know how the clouds are like or feel like, but I have learned that clouds are water vapor in the sky forming a huge group to become clouds.

For me it's just really interesting how God designs all the clouds in the sky, for me clouds look huge and heavy but if they really are heavy, how can it float in the sky?

Lily's Life Story part 4

Lily’s Life Story part 4
By: Autumn Colmen

Thank you for waiting patiently for part 4 to come. I also have some changes in place. As you can see I changed my name from Andrea Colmen To Autumn
Colmen. Why? Because I think it sounds better. Sorry if part 3 was either boring or not as good as part 1 and part 2. I was just really short on inspiration. I hope you like this part. This is the final part of this story. Enjoy.

Lily opened her eyes to see a shining, morning sunlight coming through her window. She looked at her bedside table. Lily saw the huge pile of “see you in heaven” and “get well soon” cards. She felt astonished to know that the doctor said she would die the night before but she was still alive. “How peculiar.” said a voice right beside her. “Huh?” said Lily. “I am Sam 3.0, your nurse today. How are you feeling this morning Lily?” said Sam 3.0. “I’m feeling good but how do you know my name?” questioned Lily. “My creator programmed me to know the name of someone just by looking at them. I need to tell someone about this new notice.” said Sam 3.0. The robot left the room, leaving Lily by herself for about 5 minutes. Then her mom and dad stepped into the room, the doctor following them. “Lily? Your alive? But how?” said the doctor with a surprised voice. “I don’t know.” said Lily “All I remember is falling asleep last night.”. Everyone was quiet for quite a while. The next day Lily told her parents that she wanted to share something at church. When it was time for her to share she got on the stage. “About a year ago my sister got murdered. Ever since that day I was so angry with God for what happened to her.” said Lily. “So I stopped following God. I stopped praying to him, I stopped going to church, and I stopped loving him all together.” Lily said. “But in the time that I was away from him I had a lot of trouble and heart ache. Yesterday I started to realise that God let all that trouble happen to me because he wanted me back.” Lily ended her speech and every one started clapping. From then on Lily loved God with all her heart and mind. The End

Wow this story is amazing. I really hope you liked this story. See you in my next blog. Bye. :)

Oily Post

There is actually one activity that Burmese people like to play on their new year celebration. I don't know what the game was call, but I will name it "Oily Post" this game was really hilarious and it was pretty hard to win kind of game! The materials are not much, they'll have one long bamboo log, any kind of oil (cooking oil also work), and people that will play the game (most of the time I only see guys playing).

How the game work is they will dig a hole in the ground and put a bamboo tree there then they will poke a little hole on top of the bamboo log. They will put something like a stick with flag or money on top of it then they will pour oil on top the bamboo log and make it really slippery. Then they will divide people into a group of three to four to capture the flag and  that how the game begin!!

They will go one group at a time to try and use all their strategies to climb on the bamboo log by using people that they have. They will have to make a human ladder and they aren't  allowed to use the real ladder.

And the team that successfully get the flag will be a winner of the oily post game and they will get the rewards that they are fighting for.
